Wedding Ceremony + Reception: (https://www.weddingvenue-tn.com/?gclid=CjwKCAjwv4_1BRAhEiwAtMDLsmNI6ZMZabxSn_SfFcvczYGvNVfIOSulGelN_gIDRbtdRTqDsRC7ThoC7p0QAvD_BwE) We chose to get married and have our reception at The Church On Main in Chattanoga, TN. It was one of the first places we looked at! I absolutely loved the mix between a modern and industrial look. I’ve always dreamed of a very simple wedding and The Church on Main made it so easy to do this. In their building, less is more. The ceremony was such a special time. We both have a love for the Lord and wanted this time to be Christ centered. We read scripture, had a worship time and had our family and close friends come to the altar and pray over us. We truly felt the presence of the Lord in the building. It was beautiful.

Airbnb: (https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/34510724?source_impression_id=p3_1587871350_vtJjlcFoSbYPFtQm&guests=1&adults=1) We rented an Airbnb the night before the wedding. Thankfully, we were able to rent an apartment with enough rooms for my family and bridesmaids to all stay in. Both the venue and airbnb was downtown which gave us the opportunity to have a progressive dinner and walk around downtown Saturday night. Sunday morning we all went and ate breakfast at a local coffee shop. I loved being able to have a slow morning with my family and friends before I started getting ready. Our Airbnb was within walking distance from the church which was so helpful when needing to go back and forth. It was such a beautiful place and was perfect for getting ready pictures. I am so glad we added this into the budget!!!

VENDORS: The Million Dollar Man based out of Chattanoga, TN. Our DJ was the BOMB. From the very beginning, Will and I decided we wanted a hype reception. My brother is a videographer in Knoxville, TN. He had mentioned a wedding He had shot with the million dollar man as the DJ. He had so many good things to say about Keenan. I knew He had to be apart of our special day. I’m so thankful He was available on March 8th. He made our reception a true celebration. I wanted our guest to feel welcomed and engaged and Keenan did exactly this. If you are looking for a DJ, this is your man. He is fabulous!!!!

Make Up: Chloe Hall. She is the sweetest!!! She did such an amazing job on my make up and my girls!!! I‘m not one to wear a lot of make up so a simple look is what I requested! She did an excellent job. Not only is she fabulous but she makes the getting ready process so much fun. It was full of singing and dancing, all while the prep work was going on. If you are looking for a make up artist for your big day, give my girl a shout.

Photographer: Kecia Killian based out of Cleveland, TN. This girl killed it. I spent a lot of time looking for a photographer. I ran across Kecias instagram page and absolutely loved her style. When you know, you know!!! She had such an outgoing personality and made me feel so special on my wedding day.

Videographer: Haven Media based out of Knoxville, TN. They did such an amazing job capturing every detail of our big day. Investing in a videographer allows you to relive your special day forever. I am so glad we were able to fit this into our budget! Haven Media is such a phenomenal crew.

Wedding Dress: All About The Bride based out of Chattanooga, TN. I saw so many reviews on this place. I knew I had to check it out!! It was the first and only place I went to try on dresses. Matter of fact, I tried on 7-10 dresses and the first one I tried on was the one. This place is so unique!!! For all the soon to be brides, you HAVE to put this place on the top of your list! I don’t want to spoil it for you! But, lets just say.. They don’t call it ALL About The Bride for nothing!! I had the best experience at this bridal shop. Bridesmaid Dresses: Show me your mumu. I loved my bridesmaids dresses. I had 7 bridesmaids and had 3 different styles. The color of the dresses were silver sage. They were so beautiful on my girls! The only thing I would suggest is making sure to go exactly by the size chart. We had to send a lot of dresses back unfortunately! But, it all ended up working out.

Catering: Front Porch Catering based out of Decatur, TN. Nancy and her crew did such a wonderful job on the food. Will and I love breakfast so we decided to go with that. We had French toast, bacon, ham, biscuits, quiche and yogurt. We had water, fruit tea, sweet tea and coffee for drink options! Instead of doing the traditional bride and groom cake, we instead had one huge cinnamon roll cake for the two of us. For the guest, we had a small cinnamon roll cake at each table. It worked out so well! The food and cake was delicious!!!

Questions: Questions #1 - What was your favorite part of the day? And my question is how could I pick only one?! Seeing Will for the first time was one of my favorite parts of the day. I’m so glad we decided to do a first look. I loved being able to spend a few moments together before all of our guest arrived! I will always remember that look on his face when He turned around. The moment I saw him, I felt as if time just stopped. I STILL felt the emotions walking down the aisle. The first look didn’t make me any less excited! Plus, Will and I really wanted to spend time with our family and friends at the reception. Doing the first look, gave us the rest of the night to enjoy hanging out instead of having to go and take so many more pictures! It’s totally up to the couple, I’ve heard so many good things about both. My advice is make the decision yourself. Don’t let anyone sway you!! This is YOUR day!
My second favorite part of the day was spending time with just my parents upstairs at the venue. Though, it was only a few minutes, it meant so much to me. We sat there and laughed and cried. I will never forget it!
My third favorite part of the day was in the same room upstairs. My maid of honor, Emily, had all of the girls lay hands on me and pray over me and my marriage. Being prayed over was a blessing.
My last favorite part of the day was the reception. Will and I have kept saying how we wish we could go back and relive the reception. It was a ball! Having all of our family and friends there with us to celebrate and dance was the best! Needless to say, I was sore the next morning!! I hadn’t danced that much in a long time. What other time in your life will all of your loved ones be in one building celebrating together!?! Make the most of it. Leave your pride at the door (I had to, I’m a terrible dancer) Nonetheless, enjoy yourself!!!!! You won’t ever get this specific moment back. 💗

To all the future brides reading this, my advice to you is : Don’t stress the process!!! You will never get this season back. Enjoy finding THE dress, bouquet, photographer, caterer and the music for your special day. This should be such a fun time in your life. It’s not worth stressing over!!! Your wedding day will be beautiful, sweet bride!!!! 🤍Not only that… But, at the end of the day you are finally married to your significant other. Woot woot!!!
